Terri's Huggins’ involvement with Curtain Call began when her daughter, Mallory was cast as a fox in “POCAHONTAS”.   Later Mallory was cast as Kimberly Kay in “WIND OF A THOUSAND TALES” and that is when the family really got involved.  For that production, Terri played Kimberly Kay's mother, her son, Jared was a breeze, and her husband worked many hours on set construction.  Quickly Terri found herself knee deep in many areas Curtain Call especially in the areas of marketing and publicity.  She had her first directing experience working with Suzie Reagle in the production of JACK & THE GIANT and went on to direct   “SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS" and “TREASURE ISLAND”.  Terri can’t wait to get started with “THERE’S A MONSTER IN MY CLOSET” this fall!

Pat Brandon (the executive director of Curtain Call) has been lurking around the theater scene in Kokomo for over 20 years.  She snuck into an audition for “THE PAPERTOWN PAPERCHASE”  (a children’s show by adults for children) at IUK back in 1980 and the rest is history.  She performed as actress, stage-managed, did various technical operations (props, lights, set, sound), directed and stuck her nose into anything that interested her in theater.  Pat won KCT Emma awards for her performances in “THE MUSIC MAN” (Mrs. Paroo) and “ANNIE” (Miss Hannigan).  She worked extensively for Carriage House Theatre at IUK unitl its disbanding and eventually was President of Kokomo Civic Theatre Board, as well as serving on its board for several years.  In 1987, she was instrumental in the birth of Curtain Call and has directed regularly for children ever since   She pretty much gave up on adult theater, because she likes to pal around with other peoples’ kids, since nobody would allow her to have any of her own.  Pat always says that children’s theater is endlessly appealing and full of surprises and hopes for nothing less as she directs “BLATHER, BLARNEY, AND BALDERDASH’!

Suzie Reagle’s involvement with Curtain Call began when her daughter, Alyssa began auditioning for plays during her first grade year.  She auditioned several times before “landing a part” as a fox in “WINNIE THE POOH”.  As time went on Suzie’s son, Alex was given the part of the White Stag in “THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE”.  The more involved her children became, the more she found herself drawn to the excitement of children’s theater.  She eventually ventured into the experience of directing when she served as the Assistant Director of “POCAHONTAS” with Pat Brandon.  She then went on to direct “TOY CAMP”, “JACK & THE GIANT” (with Terri Huggins), and “TINY THUMBELINA”.  She looks forward to another adventure with “HANSEL AND GRETEL”.
